On the occasion of Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s Shaheedi Divas, WSCC, Highway Hero Trust, and Park Hotel Taxi Stand came together to organize a heartfelt Meethi Shabeel Seva, a humble tribute to the Guru’s message of compassion, sacrifice, and selfless service.
Held at the Park Hotel Taxi Stand, the seva brought together members of the community, volunteers, and drivers who served cold sweet drinks (Meethi Shabeel) to passersby, travellers, and workers. It was a simple yet profound way to honour the Guru’s enduring legacy of equality, humility, and love for humanity.
A Tribute of Service and Gratitude
Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guru, taught us that true devotion lies in serving others with kindness and sincerity. The Shabeel Seva reflected this spirit, reminding everyone that small acts of compassion can create lasting impact.
The Highway Hero Trust deeply thanks all those who participated in this noble act of Sewa, offering their time and effort in remembrance of Guru Ji’s supreme sacrifice.
Together, we continue to uphold his teachings, to serve with humility and to live with purpose.
