The Highway Hero Trust (HHT) Women’s Wing proudly participated in Walk for Khadi 3.0, an inspiring event celebrating India’s spirit of self-reliance, sustainability, and women’s empowerment. The walk served as a reminder that Khadi is more than just fabric — it’s a symbol of India’s resilience and unity.
Walking for a Cause
Under HHT’s Women’s Empowerment Program, six members of the Women’s Wing joined the walk, representing the Trust with pride and purpose. The team was led by Divya Singal (President, Women’s Wing), along with Shaili Dhagat (Joint Secretary) and Kirti Prashar (Women’s Wing). Their participation reflected the organization’s ongoing commitment to promoting inclusion, leadership, and community impact.
Khadi: The Fabric of Freedom
Khadi has long been a symbol of India’s freedom movement, embodying values of simplicity, sustainability, and self-sufficiency. By participating in Walk for Khadi 3.0, the HHT Women’s Wing celebrated this legacy while highlighting how women continue to carry the torch of change, weaving together tradition and empowerment.
Empowering Through Action
Through such initiatives, the Women’s Wing aims to inspire more women to step forward, lead with confidence, and contribute to social causes that strengthen both communities and culture. Every step in the Walk for Khadi echoed HHT’s belief that empowerment begins when women support one another and stand for something bigger than themselves.
Looking Ahead
The Highway Hero Trust remains committed to building platforms that celebrate women’s voices, promote skill development, and create real impact across India. The Walk for Khadi 3.0 participation is another meaningful stride in that ongoing journey.
