20 drivers were felicitated for their exemplary services which are appreciated by the travelers on many occasions and also for their sincere efforts to provide excellent tourist services

Special Commissioner of Police, Traffic Management Division (Zone-II), Delhi, felicitated 20 drivers at Delhi Police Headquarters, New Delhi, keeping in view the safety, security and cleanliness of the cars.
The officials said that all these drivers are members of the Highway Hero Trust and owner of their cars.
The programme was attended by K. Jegadesan, Special CP/TMD (Zone-I), D. Karthikeyan and Meenakshi Sharma, GM /Delhi Tourism, Reima Virdhi and Balwant Singh Bhullar of Highway Hero Trust, Monika Bhardwaj, Addl. CP/Traffic (Zone-I), Dinesh Gupta, Addl. CP/Traffic (Zone-II) and Satyavir Katara, Addl. CP/Traffic, Hdqrs.
While addressing the programme, Special CP Ajay Chaudhry, Special CP/TMD (Zone-II) urged the drivers to follow Traffic rules and regulations in letter & spirit as any visitor in Delhi generally gets the first impression with the first contact in the City with Taxi drivers. He further told that the impression of the visitor linger on for the life as “Experience of the City”.
Special CP Chaudhary congratulated the drivers for their exemplary services which are appreciated by the travelers on many occasions and also for their sincere efforts to provide excellent tourist services by improving safety, security and gender equality. He wished them good luck for their efforts in making Delhi as Tourist Friendly as possible and also advised them to work with the same zeal, professional acumen and enthusiasm in future to build the image of “अतिथि देवो भव:”
